Upon receipt of a complaint, the bureau may make or cause to be made such investigation as it deems necessary.

Notes

Allows the bureau, upon receiving a complaint, to conduct or cause an investigation it considers necessary. Establishes complaint receipt as the basis for the bureau’s investigative authority and leaves the scope and manner of any resulting investigation to the bureau’s determination of what investigation is necessary.
