California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 3 — Professions and Vocations Generally, Chapter 15 — Land Surveyors, Article 4 — Issuance of License, Section 8746

An applicant failing an examination may be examined again upon filing a new application and the payment of the examination fee fixed by the board.

Notes

Allows an applicant who fails an examination to take the examination again after filing a new application and paying the examination fee fixed by the board. Retesting therefore requires both a new filing and the board-set examination payment rather than automatically following from the earlier unsuccessful examination attempt.
