California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 3 — Professions and Vocations Generally, Chapter 2 — Advertisers, Article 1 — General Provisions, Section 5224

“Visible” means capable of being seen (whether or not legible) without visual aid by a person of normal visual acuity.

Notes

Defines visible as capable of being seen by a person with normal visual acuity without visual aid, whether or not the matter can be read or is legible. The definition therefore turns on unaided visibility to a normally sighted person, not on readability.
