The director may file charges with the district attorney or city attorney against any automotive repair dealer who violates the provisions of this chapter or any regulation made pursuant to this chapter.

Allows the director to file charges with a district attorney or city attorney against an automotive repair dealer that violates the chapter or a regulation adopted under it. The charging authority applies to violations by automotive repair dealers and permits referral to either of the two specified local prosecuting officials.
