Any license issued pursuant to Article 6.5 (commencing with Section 9888.5) may be suspended or revoked by the director. The director may refuse to issue a license to any applicant for the reasons set forth in Section 9889.2. The proceedings under this article shall be conducted in accordance with Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 11500) of Part 1 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code, and the director shall have all the powers granted therein.

Notes

Allows the director to suspend or revoke a license issued under Article 6.5 and to refuse issuance for reasons stated in Section 9889.2. Requires proceedings under the article to follow the specified Government Code administrative-adjudication chapter and gives the director all powers granted by that procedure.
