California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 3 — Professions and Vocations Generally, Chapter 20 — Electronic and Appliance Repair Dealers, Article 4 — Offenses Against the Chapter, Section 9840
It shall be unlawful to act as a service dealer without first having registered in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and unless such registration is currently valid.
Notes
Prohibits any person from acting as a service dealer without first registering under the chapter and while that registration is not currently valid. The person must both have completed the required registration process and maintain a valid registration when acting in the service-dealer capacity.
