No person required to have a valid registration under the provisions of this chapter shall have the benefit of any lien for labor or materials or the right to sue on a contract for repairs or installation done by such individual, unless he or she has such a valid registration.

Notes

Bars a person who is required to hold a valid registration under the chapter from claiming a lien for labor or materials or suing on a contract for repair or installation work unless that person has the required valid registration. The loss of those remedies applies to work done while the required registration is absent.
