California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 3 — Professions and Vocations Generally, Chapter 7 — Professional Engineers, Article 2.3 — Professional Engineers Review Committees, Section 6728.4
At the conclusion of any hearing which is conducted by a committee, the committee shall prepare a proposed decision, in such form that it may be adopted by the board as the decision in the case, and shall transmit it to the board. The proposed decision shall be subject to the same procedure as the proposed decision of a hearing officer under subdivisions (b) and (c) of Section 11517 of the Government Code.

Requires a committee, after completing any hearing it conducts, to prepare and transmit to the board a proposed decision in a form the board could adopt as its case decision. Subjects that proposed decision to the same procedures governing a hearing officer’s proposed decision under the specified Government Code subdivisions.
