California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 3 — Professions and Vocations Generally, Chapter 7 — Professional Engineers, Article 2.3 — Professional Engineers Review Committees, Section 6728.6
Each member of a professional engineers review committee or other board-appointed committee and any board-appointed representative of the board shall be granted the same immunity as is granted to a public employee pursuant to Article 3 (commencing with Section 820) of Chapter 1 of Part 2 of Division 3.6 of Title 1 of the Government Code.
Notes
Extends the same immunity granted to a public employee under the referenced Government Code provisions to every member of a professional engineers review committee, every member of another board-appointed committee, and any board-appointed representative. The provision applies that public-employee immunity standard to each listed form of board-appointed service.
