If a licensee fails to maintain a sufficient bond required by this article, the license is subject to suspension or revocation pursuant to Section 996.020 of the Code of Civil Procedure.

Notes

Allows a contractor license to be suspended or revoked when the licensee fails to maintain a sufficient bond required by the article. The consequence applies specifically to failure to keep the required bond sufficient and is imposed pursuant to the referenced Code of Civil Procedure provision governing that suspension or revocation.
