A person who, by reason of the provisions of Section 7141, is not entitled to renew his license, may apply for and obtain a new license only if he pays all of the fees and meets all of the qualifications and requirements set forth in this chapter for obtaining an original license.

Notes

Requires a person who cannot renew a contractor license under the referenced renewal provision to apply for and obtain a new license instead. The applicant must pay all fees and satisfy every qualification and requirement that the chapter imposes on a person seeking an original contractor license.
