California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 4 — Real Estate, Part 1 — Licensing of Persons, Chapter 2 — Administration, Article 1 — The Real Estate Commissioner, Section 10078
(a) The commissioner shall adopt a seal with the words “Real Estate Commissioner State of California” and any other device as the commissioner may desire engraved thereon, by which the commissioner shall authenticate the proceedings of their office.
(b) Copies of all records and papers in the office of the commissioner certified under the hand and seal of the commissioner shall be received in evidence in all cases equally and with like effect as the originals.

Requires the commissioner to adopt a seal bearing “Real Estate Commissioner State of California” and any additional desired device for authenticating official proceedings. Requires commissioner-office records and papers certified under the commissioner’s hand and seal to be received as evidence in all cases with the same effect as their originals.
