(a) Pursuant to subdivision (u) of Section 11105 of the Penal Code, the department shall submit to the Department of Justice fingerprint images and related information required by the Department of Justice for all of the following, related to “prepaid rental listing services,” as defined in Section 10167:
(1) Original applicants for a license as a prepaid rental listing service.
(2) Licensees with a license as a prepaid rental listing service.
(3) Persons who submit a petition for reinstatement of the person’s license or the reduction of a penalty, pursuant to Section 11522 of the Government Code.
(b) The Department of Justice shall provide a state- or federal-level response, pursuant to subdivision (p) of Section 11105 of the Penal Code.
