California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 4 — Real Estate, Part 1 — Licensing of Persons, Chapter 3 — Real Estate Regulations, Article 2.5 — Continuing Education, Section 10170.6
The commissioner may amend or repeal any regulation adopted pursuant to this article in the same manner as provided for adoption of such regulations, except that no amendment or repeal shall operate to deprive any licensee of the right to submit qualifying education completed pursuant to such amended or repealed regulation during his current license term, as a basis for license renewal.
Notes
Allows the commissioner to amend or repeal continuing-education regulations using the same procedure as adoption, but bars an amendment or repeal from depriving a licensee of credit for qualifying education completed under the prior regulation during the licensee’s current license term when that education is submitted as a basis for renewal.
