California Codes, Business and Professions Code - BPC, Division 4 — Real Estate, Part 2 — Regulation of Transactions, Chapter 2 — The Vacation Ownership and Time-Share Act of 2004, Article 1 — General Provisions, Section 11213

Each time-share estate, as specified in paragraph (1) of subdivision (x) of Section 11212, constitutes, for purposes of title, a separate estate or interest in real property including ownership in real property for tax purposes.

Notes

Defines each qualifying time-share estate as a separate estate or interest in real property for title purposes, including ownership in real property for tax purposes. The rule treats each time-share estate individually as a real-property interest rather than merely as a contractual use right when determining title and property-ownership status under the specified definition.
