Any manufacturer or packager of any product subject to this article and sold in this state shall provide, upon request to duly authorized representatives of the department, documentation of any claim made upon their products’ label.

Requires every manufacturer or packager of a product covered by the article and sold in California to provide documentation supporting any claim made on the product’s label when duly authorized department representatives request it. The duty applies to label claims and is triggered by an authorized departmental request.
