Prohibits selling or distributing any product covered by this chapter when that product is adulterated or mislabeled. The prohibition applies to either condition independently, so a covered product may not lawfully be sold or distributed if it falls below applicable product standards or if its labeling meets the chapter’s criteria for mislabeling.
