Any sealing or testing of any weight, measure, weighing or measuring instrument by any employee of the department authorized for the purpose shall have the same force and effect as a sealing or testing by a sealer or his deputy.
Notes
Establishes that sealing or testing of weights, measures, and weighing or measuring instruments by an authorized department employee has the same force and effect as sealing or testing by a sealer or deputy sealer. Department-authorized testing and sealing therefore carries equivalent legal effect to the same work performed by those local officials.
