If any provision of this chapter, or the application of such provision to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of this chapter shall not be affected thereby.

Notes

Establishes severability for the chapter by providing that if any provision, or its application to a particular person or circumstance, is held invalid, the remainder of the chapter remains unaffected. The invalidity therefore does not automatically invalidate other provisions or applications.
