Any person acquiring containers, supplies or equipment, by purchase or other lawful means, and having the written consent provided for in this article is not required again to file the description, but acquires as a part of his or her purchase all benefit that the vendor has.

Notes

Exempts a person who lawfully acquires containers, supplies, or equipment and has the written consent required by this article from filing the description again. The purchaser or other lawful acquirer receives, as part of the acquisition, all benefits the vendor had, so the prior filing and associated benefit carry with the transferred property when the consent requirement is satisfied.
