No license fee may be collected from, nor any penalty for the nonpayment thereof enforced against, any commercial traveler whose business is limited to goods, wares, and merchandise sold or dealt in at wholesale in this State.

Notes

Exempts a commercial traveler whose business is limited to goods, wares, and merchandise sold or dealt in wholesale in California from collection of a license fee and from any penalty for failing to pay that fee. The exemption applies only when the traveler’s business remains limited to the stated wholesale activity within the state.
