It is not unlawful to enter into agreements or form associations or combinations, the purpose and effect of which is to promote, encourage or increase competition in any trade or industry, or which are in furtherance of trade.
Notes
Allows agreements, associations, or combinations whose purpose and effect are to promote, encourage, or increase competition in a trade or industry, or that further trade. Such arrangements are expressly not unlawful under this provision when they serve those stated competitive or trade-furthering purposes and effects.
