Any contract, express or implied, made by any person, firm, or corporation in violation of this chapter is an illegal contract and no recovery thereon shall be had.

Establishes that any express or implied contract made by a person, firm, or corporation in violation of this chapter is illegal and cannot be enforced through recovery on that contract. The provision denies contractual recovery when the agreement itself violates the chapter, applying whether the unlawful contract was stated expressly or arose by implication.
