Any person or trade association may bring an action to enjoin and restrain any violation of this chapter and, in addition thereto, for the recovery of damages.

Notes

Allows any person or trade association to bring an action to enjoin and restrain a violation of this chapter and also to recover damages. The provision expressly authorizes both preventive injunctive relief and monetary recovery in the same enforcement framework, without limiting the right of action to a governmental plaintiff or a specifically named market participant.
