With respect to contracts entered into on or after the effective date of this chapter, no financial institution shall enter into a contract which provides for reassignment.

Notes

Prohibits a financial institution from entering a contract that provides for reassignment when the contract is entered into on or after the chapter’s effective date. The restriction applies to contracts made from that effective date forward, making a reassignment provision impermissible in contracts within the stated time scope.
