No seller shall make or authorize the making of any references to its compliance with this article to any prospective or actual purchaser.

Notes

Prohibits a seller from making, or authorizing anyone to make, any reference to the seller’s compliance with this article when communicating with a prospective or actual purchaser. The rule bars using claimed compliance as a representation to either potential buyers or completed purchasers, regardless of whether the seller makes the statement directly or authorizes another person to make it.
