No person other than a purchaser at retail for his own use and consumption shall remove, deface, cover, obliterate, mutilate, alter, or cause to be removed, defaced, covered, obliterated, mutilated, or altered any label required to be placed on a picture tube by this code.

Notes

Prohibits anyone other than a retail purchaser for personal use and consumption from removing, defacing, covering, obliterating, mutilating, altering, or causing alteration of a picture-tube label required by this code. The retail purchaser exception applies only to the purchaser’s own use and consumption.
