Nothing in this chapter shall prohibit any person from redeeming, pursuant to contract, any trading stamps issued on or before December 31, 1997.

Notes

Allows any person to redeem trading stamps pursuant to contract when the stamps were issued on or before December 31, 1997. The chapter therefore does not prohibit contractual redemption of those previously issued stamps, preserving redemption despite other chapter restrictions and limiting the carve-out to stamps issued no later than the stated date.
