The provisions of this chapter shall only apply to rental agreements entered into, or extended, or renewed after the effective date of this chapter.

Notes

Limits the chapter's application to rental agreements that are entered into, extended, or renewed after the chapter's effective date. The chapter applies when one of those rental-agreement events occurs after the effective date, covering new agreements as well as agreements that are later extended or renewed.
