The provisions of this article shall apply exclusively to the following metals and to the alloys of each:
(a) Platinum
(b) Iridium
(c) Palladium
(d) Ruthenium
(e) Rhodium
(f) Osmium.

Limits the article exclusively to platinum, iridium, palladium, ruthenium, rhodium, osmium, and the alloys of each of those metals. The provision defines the article's material scope and does not extend its requirements to metals or alloys outside that specified list.
