Nothing in this chapter shall prevent any county, city, or city and county from prohibiting the holding or participating in any contest, match, or exhibition.

Notes

Allows any county, city, or city and county to prohibit the holding of or participation in any contest, match, or exhibition despite this chapter. The chapter does not prevent a local government from imposing such a prohibition, preserving the stated local authority over those events and participation in them.
