This chapter does not apply to any nonprofit charitable tax-exempt organization selling tickets to an event sponsored by the organization.

Notes

Exempts a nonprofit charitable tax-exempt organization from the chapter when the organization sells tickets to an event that it sponsors. The exemption depends on both the organization’s nonprofit charitable tax-exempt status and its sponsorship of the event for which it is selling the tickets.
