It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in a business regulated by this chapter unless, at the time of so doing, he or she holds a valid, unexpired license to engage in that business, in compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
Notes
Prohibits any person from engaging in a business regulated by the chapter unless, at the time of doing so, the person holds a valid, unexpired license authorizing that business and complies with the chapter's licensing provisions. The license therefore must be valid and unexpired while the regulated business is conducted.
