Every person, not authorized by law, who brings into any state prison, city or county jail, city and county jail, or reformatory in this State, or within the grounds belonging to any such institution, any alcoholic beverage is guilty of a felony.

Notes

Establishes felony liability for a person who, without legal authorization, brings any alcoholic beverage into a state prison, city or county jail, city and county jail, or reformatory in California, or onto grounds belonging to any such institution. The felony applies to unauthorized introduction into either the institution or its grounds.
