Alcoholic beverages imported into this State contrary to the provisions of Sections 23661 to 23664, inclusive, shall be seized by the department.
Notes
Requires the department to seize alcoholic beverages imported into the state contrary to the specified import provisions. The seizure mandate applies to beverages brought in violation of any of those listed sections and states no monetary threshold, quantity exception, grace period, alternate penalty, return procedure, or discretion for the department once the violation exists.
