No new original public premises licenses shall be issued except for beer, or beer and wine, and no public premises licenses shall be transferred from county to county, unless the applicant can show that substantial public demand cannot otherwise be satisfied.

Notes

Prohibits new original public-premises licenses except licenses for beer or for beer and wine, and prohibits transferring public-premises licenses from one county to another. Allows an intercounty transfer only when the applicant demonstrates that substantial public demand cannot otherwise be satisfied.
