Any necessary force may be used to protect from wrongful injury the person or property of oneself, or of a spouse, child, parent, or other relative, or member of one’s family, or of a ward, servant, master, or guest.

Allows a person to use any necessary force to protect against wrongful injury, reaching not only that person's own self and property but also the person or property of a spouse, child, parent, other relative, family member, ward, servant, master, or guest.
