No rental or sale agreement shall contain a provision by which the purchaser or homeowner waives his or her rights under this chapter. Any such waiver shall be deemed contrary to public policy and shall be void and unenforceable.
Notes
Prohibits a rental or sale agreement from containing any provision by which a mobilehome purchaser or homeowner waives rights granted under the chapter. Any attempted waiver of those rights is declared contrary to public policy and is void and unenforceable, so the agreement cannot make such a waiver effective.
