The owner of a life estate may use the land in the same manner as the owner of a fee simple, except that he must do no act to the injury of the inheritance.
Notes
Allows the owner of a life estate to use the land in the same manner as an owner holding a fee simple estate. The life tenant’s use is limited by the requirement not to commit any act that injures the inheritance, preserving the underlying inheritance from harmful use.
