To the extent that provisions of this chapter are enforced and those provisions are substantially similar to provisions in Section 6000, but an action is subsequently commenced under Section 6000, the parties are excused from performing the substantially similar requirements under Section 6000.

Notes

Exempts parties from repeating substantially similar requirements under the referenced common-interest-development procedure when substantially similar provisions of this construction-claim chapter have already been enforced and an action is later commenced under that other procedure. The exemption applies only to requirements that are substantially similar to those already performed.
