Section Fifteen Hundred and Twenty-four. Part performance of an obligation, either before or after a breach thereof, when expressly accepted by the creditor in writing, in satisfaction, or rendered in pursuance of an agreement in writing for that purpose, though without any new consideration, extinguishes the obligation.

Establishes that partial performance of an obligation, whether before or after breach, extinguishes the obligation when the creditor expressly accepts it in writing as satisfaction or it is rendered under a written agreement for that purpose. No new consideration is required for the written satisfaction arrangement to be effective.
