A representation by a minor that the minor’s parent or legal guardian has consented shall not be considered to be consent for purposes of this chapter.

Establishes that a minor’s representation that the minor’s parent or legal guardian has consented is not treated as consent for purposes of the chapter. The minor’s statement about parental or guardian approval therefore cannot itself satisfy the consent requirement governed by these provisions.
