The provisions of this title are severable. If any provision of this title or its application is held invalid, that invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application.
Notes
Establishes the title’s provisions as severable so that invalidity of one provision or application does not invalidate other provisions or applications that can operate without it. The rule preserves the remaining portions whenever they can be given effect independently of the provision or application held invalid.
