California Codes, Civil Code - CIV, Division 3 — Obligations, Part 4 — Obligations Arising from Particular Transactions, Title 1.8 — Personal Data, Chapter 1 — Information Practices Act of 1977, Article 8 — Access to Records and Administrative Remedies, Section 1798.30

Each agency shall either adopt regulations or publish guidelines specifying procedures to be followed in order fully to implement each of the rights of individuals set forth in this article.

Notes

Requires each agency to adopt regulations or publish guidelines that specify the procedures individuals must follow to exercise fully each right granted to them by the article. The agency may choose regulations or published guidelines, but the selected procedures must implement every individual right set out in the article.
