California Codes, Civil Code - CIV, Division 3 — Obligations, Part 4 — Obligations Arising from Particular Transactions, Title 1.81.5 — California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, Section 1798.199.60
Whenever the agency rejects the decision of an administrative law judge made pursuant to Section 11517 of the Government Code, the agency shall state the reasons in writing for rejecting the decision.
Notes
Requires the agency, whenever it rejects an administrative law judge’s decision made under the referenced Government Code procedure, to state its reasons for rejection in writing. Establishes a written-reasons requirement each time the agency rejects such a decision rather than accepting the administrative law judge’s determination.
