California Codes, Civil Code - CIV, Division 3 — Obligations, Part 4 — Obligations Arising from Particular Transactions, Title 14 — Lien, Chapter 6.7 — Livestock Service Lien, Section 3080.18
(a) Any sale of which notice is delivered or mailed and published as provided in this chapter and which is held as provided in this chapter is a public sale.
(b) Any public sale may be postponed from time to time by public announcement at the time and place last scheduled for sale.
(c) The lienholder may purchase the livestock at a public sale.
Notes
Allows a livestock lienholder to conduct a sale under the chapter as a public sale, postpone it by public announcement at the last scheduled time and place, and purchase the livestock at the sale. The sale must otherwise follow the notices and procedures required by the chapter.
