The seller shall not obtain the signature of the buyer to a contract when it contains blank spaces to be filled in after it has been signed.
Notes
Prohibits a seller from obtaining the buyer’s signature on a contract containing blank spaces that are intended to be filled in after signing. Bars execution of the contract while such post-signing blanks remain, so the buyer’s signature cannot be obtained before the spaces intended for later completion are filled.
