This chapter shall only apply to those reverse mortgage loans executed on or after January 1, 1998.

Limits the chapter to reverse-mortgage loans executed on or after January 1, 1998. The execution date is the applicability threshold: reverse-mortgage loans executed before that date fall outside the chapter, while loans executed on or after the stated date are within the chapter’s stated scope.
