An agreement made or entered into by an owner whereby the owner agrees to waive the rights conferred on the owner by this chapter is void and unenforceable.
Notes
Bars an owner from enforcing an agreement in which the owner agrees to waive rights conferred by this chapter. Any such agreement, whether made or entered into by the owner, is void and unenforceable, preserving the owner’s rights under the chapter despite the attempted waiver.
