The time in which any act provided by law is to be done is computed by excluding the first day and including the last, unless the last day is a holiday, and then it is also excluded.

Notes

Sets the method for counting any time period fixed by law: exclude the first day, include the last, and exclude the last day as well when it falls on a holiday. Applies to every act that law provides is to be done within a set time.
